There are some exciting changes for the Recondo School offered every first Sunday of the month.
In order to gain better cohesion when playing in the patrol format. Phase #4 will concentrate on team movement, tactics, situational awareness and response to threats. We have found that though the graduates perform well in the field, more team building needs to happen to make them a stronger force.
The Recondo Student Uniforms are now ACU with Boonie hat only. We would like everyone to start moving away from the woodland uniform as this will be reserved for guests only.
Do not purchase the ABU or any other pattern as the ACU is the required uniform for Recondo School and Students.

hmmmm... i like the fact that were working for more realism here but not the fact that the ACU camouflage pattern simply doesnt work. Is MarPat Still and option for geusts?
Hello Andrew,
The ACU requirements are for club members and recondo students only. Guests can still wear woodland and MARPAT if they choose. So no worries.
The over all goal IS in fact to modernize the club to the Army requirements today. this will really help things feel much more realistic and help avoid friendly fire.
The Mike Force fields work really well with the ACU color. If we were in the jungle or very dark woods I would agree with your comments. But we are lucky to have terrain and foliage that it functions well in.
ok i guess I'm a little skeptical about the ACU design but yes you're right realism is definitely the goal. Would the club ever consider letting members use MARPAT? As a marine officer hopeful this is important to me haha.
The use of the MARPAT pattern has been discussed at length. If you are with a squad of 6 or more this may be possible with the blessing of Doc King. Army is obviously his choice for the modernization of the club.
Doc usually has one MARINE detachment on the American side I would reserve a place for that pattern through his permission.
